Acid Etch is designed to eliminate residual laitance from new concrete surfaces, particularly before painting. It effectively removes laitance and salts from concrete and render, making it ideal for preparing exceptionally smooth surfaces and power-floated concrete floors in situations where blasting and mechanical abrasion are impractical.
